On this Food Tour, food and culture meet, walking with your guide through Ponta Delgada, the guide will explain how our culture has influenced the way we eat and what we eat.

We start by going to Café Royal for an espresso and taste the Queijada de Vila Franca do Campo, as a true Azorean would. Also in this café we can witness the evolution of the city and the environment, during the walk through the city listening to recommendations and some history.

The next stop takes place in a small store on our street, join us for a tasting of various cheeses, with so many cows on the island it is clear that we have different cheeses with different flavors and intensity.

Continue walking with us to our Local Market and enjoy the colorful view of all the fruits and vegetables of the region, meat, fish, it is all here.

In this market “Mercado da Graça” you can taste some of our seasonal fruits and/or natural juice from a fruit available at the market stand.

In this half-day tour (up to 2,5h), the meeting point can be at Portas da Cidade or at your Hotel if it is in the city center.
