Ilhéus das Cabras, located south of Angra do Heroísmo, are the result of an island split in two by fault movement and shaped by sea erosion.

Its steep cliffs end in caves of unusual beauty, making them ideal for a boat tour and for snorkeling activities.

As a nesting site for seabirds, this area is therefore protected.
