Graciosa

It is the second smallest island of the archipelago with 61,2 km2 and a population of 4.300 inhabitants spread over four parishes, this pretty little island of whitish cliffs, owes its nickname of white island due to the whitish color of its cliffs, composed of a rock which is called a trachyte.
