With our Coasteering tours, you can explore the beautiful coastline of the island of São Miguel and some of its many bays and caves using a variety of methods (including thrilling jumps from remarkable cliffs, a few moments of controlled climbing, dives and refreshing swims directly in the ocean).

Most of our excursions take place in Caloura, the south-central part of São Miguel island, +/- 20 minutes by car from the city of Ponta Delgada. However, if the weather conditions on the south coast are not the most favourable, the tour will take place in Ribeirinha, in the north-central part of the island.
However, when we arrive at the starting point of the activity, we will proceed with the distribution of equipment and a brief safety briefing. Once we’re ready, we’ll start our adventure along the coast. With lots of fun, we’ll explore some caves, walk on volcanic terrain, dive into the ocean and play in natural pools and inland bays, where it’s also possible to do a bit of snorkelling while admiring the marine biodiversity.

Transport/Meeting Point
• Pick-up: If you want a pick-up, the pick-up will be between 08h30 and 08h50 in the morning (October to May) or between 13h55 and 14h15 in the afternoon (June to September).
Please consider this for the Ponta Delgada area (for other areas, please contact us). After the activity, we will drop you off again at your accommodation.
• If you don't need a pick-up, consider the Meeting Point: Caloura Fishing Port, at 09h30 in the morning (October to May) or at 02h45 p.m. (June to September), next to the parking lot next to the Caloura Bar.
• We will contact you if we need to arrange a different time / place.

• A moderate level of fitness is recommended, as this excursion sometimes includes: walking on unstable terrain and slippery rocks, muddy slopes and small ascents and descents.
