Itinerary

@AZORES practices climbing in Água de Pau, a parish located in the southern part of the island of São Miguel, between the city of Lagoa and Vila Franca (+/- 20 minute drive from the city of Ponta Delgada). When we get there, we will proceed with the equipment distribution and a quick safety briefing, followed by a 10 minute hike, through a stunning volcanic wall forest, until we reach the area where the activity will take place.
NOTE: We mainly do top rope climbing; however, for more experienced customers it is also possible to practice lead climbing. The difficulty level of this activity may vary between 5c and 7c (French system).
Transport/Meeting Point
• The Pick-up time is usually between 08:30 and 08:50 AM at your place of accommodation. Consider this for the areas of Ponta Delgada, Capelas, Caloura, Lagoa and Ribeira Grande (for others, please contact us).
-When the activity is over, we will drop you off at your place of accommodation again.
• If you don’t require Pick-up, consider the Meeting Point at Água de Pau Church around 09:30 AM.
• We will contact you in case we need to settle a different time / place.
What to bring
• Hair elastic (if applicable);
• Comfortable clothes and shoes;
• Individual water bottle.
• A few snacks.

• All Climbing equipment (harness, helmet and shoes);
• Insurances;
• Photos / Videos;
• Pick-up and Drop-off (if respective option is chosen).
